Yasir Arafat was the first president of the Palestine from 1996-2004. He was also the chairman of the PLO Palestine liberation organization. He sits as a president in the Palestine nation authority from 1996 – 2004.arafat led the Palestine public or people’s in the efforts to statehood.because of his work for peace in the region of Palestine and Israel he was awarded for Nobel peace prize in 1994 the Israeli leader Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres.after organizing the anti Israel al Fateh guerrilla in the1950′s Arafat become the chairman of the Palestinian liberation organization in 1969. In 1974 Arafat go to the united nation with Palestine issue he raised this issue nongovernmental level first time in UN .in the year of 1991 Palestine liberal organization sport to Iraq in Persian gulf war which result was not good for PLO and Palestine liberal organization to become weak after it. But he was a great leader for Palestinian peoples.
